Imaging Section
This section contains some images taken by club members using a variety of equipment : an SBIG XM2000 CCD , the Classic Phillips Toucam webcam, as well as some heavily modified Webcams such as Imaging Source DMK 21AU04 and DMK21AUG618 for long exposure CCD imaging. The Meade Lunar PIanetary Imager (LPI) and Deep Sky Imager (DSI) cameras also have a number of owners within the club. More recently, the ever expanding market of DSLR 's( Digital Single lens Reflex cameras) has added new tools with a couple of Canon 350D , 400D and 1100D bodies along with a selection of compact cameras and mobile phones.

Monitor Adjustment
The key to seeing the maximum detail in astronomical images is to have your monitor adjusted so that it displays all the possible shades of gray in a balanced way. Click this link for a greyscale test card and image, to calibrate your own monitor.
