M3 – NGC5272
5hrs of total exposure using 10min subs. This was to get the very faint stars at the far periphery as well as the brighter centre that would require lower exposure. I used an extended full-well-depth mode on the camera from this to give a full well depth of 75,000e to prevent the core blowing out in the 600s exposures. by Dean Ashton

Gamma Cygni by Dr Nigel Price
HOO image of Gamma Cygni nebula in Cygnus imaged over the last week in dribs and drabs. Only three hours of data finally used. But I’m really starting to enjoy this bit of the sky as there is so much to see and it is relatively bright in Halpha and OIII.
